The Istituto Enologico Italiano was founded in 1968 by a group of experts in wine marketing who were united in one important way that is to make Italian wines known and appreciated worldwide. Through it’s work the Institute has been able to publicise many large and small wine producers who have helped to make Italy famous in the wine trade. The Istituto Enologico Italiano is constantly on the lookout for excellent products, each winery is carefully selected, not only the characteristics of the products but also the history of the place and above all the people who make this heavenly beverage. In this way little known, but very interesting wines have often been discovered. The wineries chosen by the Istituto Enologico Italiano entrust their distribution to the Istituto Enologico Italiano as they know they can trust in it’s success and experience to date.
